It should be getting to be right time of year. However the weather is all over the place so who knows. I was wondering the same thing.

My son and I went Tuesday from around 10a-3p. Weather was awesome...slight breeze and cloudy. He flat out kicked my tail....we had 38 total and I only caught 9 of those. roflmao Mostly smalls....biggest was a butterball 3 1/2 pounder on a crankbait. Half of our fish were caught from 2-7 feet in one area and the others were deeper in the 8-12 foot range in a different location. Dropshots were the most effective. Caught some on cranks too.

That little lake gets rough, 20 mph winds on MLK day and they were coming over my bow on spotlock.

Football jigs fished in 15 to 20 is good right now. Also try C/R with a wacky worm set up. This has been producing nice fish, lower numbers but good quality fish....

Sorry, Wug. I wasn't out there. I know how bad Fayette can be when the wind kicks up. I was at home flying a kite.
