Man,
It has been a very rough late fall/early winter for me so far. Only fish i have caught have been from the Kayak on swimbaits, crankbaits, jerkbaits. And there haven't been many of those either haha. I am up in Watauga/Keller area. Anybody want to recommend a good bank spot I should check out up in this area? Thanks

Yes it has been a very tough late fall early winter across the state. We have had a lot very HEAVY RAIN since October with a lot of major flooding. If we get no more major flooding, this upcoming spring through the rest of 2019 should be an AWESOME year. thumb

Wait a couple months and the creeks will be on fire.!? Good luck on someone sharing their spot. I pretty much hang it up from October- end of January. Then I start scouting creeks

I plan to do some fishing soon, but I'll try to "bottom" fish for "anything" that bites.

I'll try bread, corn, worms or bugs if I find them, maybe some candy...anything.

I just want to land some stuff!

Try some cut, fresh shad or bluegill. If you are unable to catch neither, go to the Asian market and pick up some fresh carp. Try and locate a wind blown point on your favorite lake. Many big blue cats being caught.

No skunk yesterday, finally found some little chunks. Two spots, 4 bass, 1 crappie - Nothing big but felt good regardless.
