Welcome to the TFF Crappie forum!

It does not make a difference - until it does! I know this is no help, but........

Most of the time I do not use anything on my jigs. However, in the winter - when NOT fishing the slips, I'm now starting to think it would help to use scent. If I had some dead minnows - I would always chose that first! But, I don't buy minnows anymore so using a can/bottle of some form of scent may be in the tackle box. This week - I fished three days from my boat and haven't caught much! I am going to my favorite tackle shop today and picking up some scent!

Hope this helps. Like I said, it does not make any difference until it does! hmmm
