Bev's fish creations at lake fork
quick turn around, she has hundreds of forms to choose from, excellent job, she's done my last 3 fish
much better customer service than Lake Fork Taxidermy, they wouldn't return my calls, emails even after we had a deal in place. Guess their business makes too much money, they don't need new business

Lake Fork Taxidermy built a replica for me in the 80s and shipped it to me in West Texas. Was beautiful! When I moved to McKinney in 2005, I broke the dorsal fin. On a trip back to Fork, I dropped it off ( was surprised to still see them there) for repair.
Picked it up a month later; not only was the dorsal fin back to perfect, LFT had repainted the replica, as it had faded over the years. Beautiful again!
The kicker - they would not charge me because I had come to them 20 years earlier for the original work.
Lake Fork Taxidermy for life, here.

Bryan Russel (904)-716-7048. Give him a call. Does great work. He has done several replications for me and all of them turned out fantastic. Will use him again if I ever need a replication made.

Lots of old threads here about LFT, big complaint is all their mounts look the same. Seen sharelunker entries say the same thing, not really complaining as they get the mount for free but they don't really look like the actual fish they caught.

I'm a fan of Ron Kelly who did mine in 1993 and still looks great. What makes mine different it was a live mount. I think he's in Rockwall now but don't have a phone number. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/01/full-90868-242331-14.19.jpg)

I’ve had two replicas done by LFT and both look exactly like the fish that were caught. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/01/full-2850-242343-3979f0e1_bced_4096_b2a4_773799548083.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/01/full-2850-242344-1238e486_dbc1_4b61_b45d_631d47063a76.jpeg)

This is the 11lb 6oz caught on Palestine. I also have an 11lb 12oz from Fork that was done by LFT.

I wouldn't say exactly....
They completely white out the belly on every single mount they do. They fail to capture the true colors of the fish on every single mount. They may replicate the patterns.....but the colors are not the same. Just my opinion.

Honestly I do wish they had more color on the belly but there were two distinct humps on the fish that they got perfect. The one by the dorsal fin and the one on her nose. My fork fish replica has a whiter belly and is almost identical to the real fish.
