I've been there a couple times and haven't caught anything except some small white bass, also haven see anyone catching anything.

catfish are easy
crappie are hard
there are some big bass in there
& they can be caught

What Butch said. I fished for years on Lake Arlington. It is full of channel cats. I caught a lot of them at Bowman Springs Park. I have had many a good trip bass fishing there, with my largest at just over 7 pounds. Much larger bass have come out of there for sure.

chum helps, or you can throw out corn a few days ahead of when you fish & that will bring them in
thats on the Northwest point of the park
