Anyone been to Lake travis lately? Is it muddy? Is it fishable? Mainly asking as I saw a picture of LBJ from a month or so ago and it was extremely muddy after some flooding from a little while back. Not that familiar with the area and wanting to go Saturday, so curious what condition things are in.

Thanks.

Travis is fishing extremely well these days. Water still not 100% up river but nothing like it was after the floods. They're catching from the dam on up.

not very clear right now

water is gross by Travis standards from Pace Bend up. But definitely fishable. "How is Lake X fishing?" posts a week before a big derby make me giggle

I was sitting in 14 feet of water yesterday and could see the bottom 04Champ...even by "Travis Standards"...that's pretty clear. But yea, funny post. Thank you for joining us at the TFF next Saturday SATopwater!

Just fyi for those who might go in the near future, the lake was about 18 feet high according to the site I checked. I tried the Briarcliff ramp, completely underwater as is half the parking lot on the lower end.

Try this one. Lake is right at full pool.

Probably not going to get a ton of info with TTZ this weekend. I haven't been out there since the off limits started, but its been fishing pretty well. There have been some slow days that were an absolute grind though. A dropshot, a football jig, and a swim jig should definitely be on your deck!

I've got some recent reports up on my site if you want to read them.
