I saw where the FLW is going to be on Rayburn next week. I was also planning to be there that weekend to fish, just Saturday and Sunday. I am staying not far from Umphrey and wanted to know if that ramp is closed to everyone else except the FLW guys? Also, I am reading that with the high water, some ramps are closing period, so I just want to see where I can launch without having to drive all the way up North.

Mill Creek will be your best bet... Very high ramp, dont have to worry about high waters and only like 15 minutes or so from the Umphrey area.

Mill Creek boat ramp was closed yesterday by The Corps bc of high water. The only ramp opened on the south end right now is Public (beside Umphrey Pavilion) and Powell Park.

Fished by Powell park last week, looked like the ramp is under construction. Maybe there is another ramp can't remember.

there is a community ramp at plum ridge. between government shut down, rising water, and construction not many ramps remain open. current level is 7.45 above pool. Jackson hill, Cassels Boykins, McCalister still open.

Thank you guys for the info, but does anyone know if the Umphrey ramp will be open or is it only open to the FLW anglers for their tournament?

Can't imagine them closing it down just to FLW guys, I'm sure there will be followers out there with them. I hope this tournament goes on as planned it will be fun hearing how they catch them with the flooded conditions.

I thought they were using the ramp by the bridge.
