Needs to be a bit bigger for the record mean mouth out there? It is very close. A fish that big was registered out there this year. Should have had it weighed on a better scale or contacted a state park out there. The biologist for ray rob just admitted to there being a mean mouth population in there

Did you get it weighted officially? Doesnt look anywhere close to as big as the one Cody Morison just caught at ray Roberts this fall and his was just certified as state record mean mouth at 6.1lbs that fish doesnt look near as big I know Pics dont always do them justice but that fish looks barely over 4

Record smallie is 6# 4oz. Should have girthed and length with camera. Will use that info records.
