I have been there at least once every week the last few weeks. I am the guy in the pink, purple and black kayak.
I have caught lots of small bass and really just a few near the hydrilla, I seem to do better in the standing grass.

Lets go fishing

I usually fish a swimbait on 5/0 Owner Flashy Swimmer around the edges. The other day had a hard time most of the day then winds picked up late and I parked on top of grass and threw bait right along the deepest grass line.. about 6 feet of water. Fish were blasting it just as bait came to surface at edge grass. No bites if I was more than a few feet from grass line.

Planning on heading that way next week. Wheres a good place to stay close to the lake? Probably be there Thursday and Friday. Maybe stay for Saturday based on how the fishing is.

Yeah. Thats not what happened. He and I discussed what happened and he was super nice. We discussed them having a new guy who hadnt fished before. He was a really nice guy. I popped off and apologized for running my mouth. He was very understanding and was cool about it and was apologetic for his new guys actions ... all good. We worked it out. Guy was cool. cheers

Yep. I am. But like to get away to hot water during winter. On occasion.
