Thinking about changing up my frogging set-up this year from braid to fluorocarbon with hopes of getting more strikes. Have any of you used fluorocarbon and if so have you broke many off?

Thanks

So true guys.... thanks. I was a little scared that when I hammered the hook home I'd break off.

When you frog over grass or though wood in the clear those older wiser bass can see the braid.

Respectfully you are way overthinking the line visibility aspect of frog fishing. Based on what you posted then they can see the line then they can see the fake silicone strands and the hooks in the frog. I doubt they line visibility matters much at all. For the most part froggin' is a reaction bite. Line visibility should be way down on your priority list. At least in my own opinion.

I have tried mono and it Isn't sufficient either, I prefer 65lb. Power Pro slick.
