I left the boat in the shop and hit the local creek. I tell ya, watching that cork go under will sure bring out the kid in a person. Fish were holding in 4 ft. water. They would hit it dead in the water but hit it best with a slow drag to the bank.

Now that looks like fun. With all this rain last night bet it would be hard to get back to the creek today.

Now that looks like fun. With all this rain last night bet it would be hard to get back to the creek today. Yes sir, it will be awhile before I can get back down there. Once again the water has come all the way to Hiway 149 just below Tatum and it's supposed to start raining again this evening. I hit Martin Lake this morning a caught a few but it was cccccold and windy.
