Awhile back I saw Collin County Fly Fishers mentioned. Does this exist? I have long wanted
A club in Collin County! I hate the thought of having to make a commute to be with others that
Want to get together to discuss fly fishing! If this doesnt exist what would prevent us starting a
Group that think as I do? I read often but seldom post. I know there a bunch of folks that love fly fishing and tying in Collin County! Come on guys lets do somethin! Please! OK, Ill crawl back into my cave and shut up!
I hope each of you have a very Merry Christmas!

Very Kind Regards,
Charlie47

It exists. It is a Project Healing Waters group. It's a very active group that meets at the Allen Cabelas. But, I think you have to be a veteran to be a member since it is with PHW. I might be wrong about this though.

The three other DFW clubs meet in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Sherman. However, there is nothing stopping you from starting another group. Looks like you are in Frisco and I would think that would be an ideal area to start a new club, as fast as that area is growing. Jerry Hamon is the man to talk to, the IFF can help.

There is a group of awesome young men who are in the process of starting the Collin County Fly Fishing Club.
They will be meeting with the Texas Councils Membership guys shortly after the 1st of the year to make it happen.

STAY TUNED!!!
