Went to lake granger for a quick fishing trip, caught couple of white bass on jig, largest hitting 2lb8oz and 17", it is a giant !
Very surprised to catch such a big fish in winter ,
almost lake record.

Nice fish. Good job.
Side Note: Could have been the Granger Catch&Release Record if you released it and have pictures showing it's length and you holding the fish.

Nice fish, thats a fat one! Ive never been to Granger and live fairly close. With the holiday coming up Ill have some time to go, any suggestions to where I could put a kayak in and possibly get on whites?

Thanks, yeh, didn't measure it right away until after I got to my car then realized it could be close to the record.

Or If you launch from the Wilson fox park and go up to the mouth of San Gabriel river, you should be able to catch some nice white bass or crappies.
