Went out this afternoon on a lake I've never fished before and did alright. I had a few hours to kill today (wife having several friends over for lunch) so I went to the White River crappie house. Came home with 7 keepers, 3 about 12" and the others 10". Had to crappie house to myself, a nice, peaceful day of fishing.
Guns have only two enemies...Rust and Politicians

Hey Fergy was reading on the TPW website about White River and it showed Walleye in the lake. Is this true or just a past experiment?

I have caught some large walleye in White River. They last stocked the lake with Walleye in 2015.

I have caught several very good walleye at White River over the years. Just make sure you have a landing net handy for them. I'm pretty sure I hooked one but Tuesday he got me hung up in brush before I could do anything with him.

Went to White River today. Very slow and the bites were light. I tried lots of colors and body styles and didn't get bit all day on jigs, when that's all they would bite last time I was there. The bites I got were on minnows. Tough fishing.
