OK guys I have an unique problem. The rains we had a little while back caused trees to fall in the creek and float into the docks and shoreline of a lake. Alot of these are over 20' long, have the large limbs coming off the trunk are a pain to get out of docks and out of the densely populated shoreline. My question today is how to get rid of these hazards? We have been pulling them out of docks using a boat and then pulling them to the boat ramp with a rope. Time consuming and the larger logs don't cooperate with the large limbs dragging. Anybody have a better idea?

Put the plug in.

Just kidding about the concrete blocks. Wait till the lake drops then cut with a chainsaw.

Tractor and a long chain or rope. Lasso it, drag it ashore and crank up the chainsaws.
