I like the shorter rod as well. 6'6" MH. I still use my old Hendrix spinnerbait rod and love it

I use as a Falcon Cara 7' 2" swimjig rod.

On the Trap Caster.....look at the new Lowrider they have coming out. I have the 7' MH "All Around" rod. Almost identical. I think you'll like it.
