Checked into a hotel in Vegas once (business trip) and there was a pair of false eyelashes stuck to the closet door/mirror. Must have been the Derek Suite.

Stayed in a 5 star hotel in Guangzhou, China and there were two over the head gas masks in the room. Made me start wondering what could go on that we needed gas masks.

[quote=nethingthatbites]T Went to Spain back in July, and my hotel room in Madrid had a bidet. And yes, I used it. Do ya have to stir a log with a coat hanger to get it to go on down? Maybe you are only supposed to deposit crappie bait size morsels??? And please no pictures of the coat hangers......

My hotel room in Barcelona had this card reader where you placed your room key to turn on the lights. That's common. I have been in dozens of hotel rooms with that.

Stayed at Caesars Palace in Tahoe. They had a hot tub in the middle of the room. Fun times. Same thing happened to us at a small boutique hotel in Vegas. NICE! We stayed there twice more on later trips!!

Back in my traveling years, I booked a room at the Embassy Suites in Milwaukee, WI. The young lady who delivered room service offered more than just food. And no I just stuck with what was on the official menu.
He is truly a sick individual.

A "fresh remote", for the TV. It was in a sealed plastic bag so you knew it was fresh. I had never thought about ot before but now it bothers me when the remote is not advertised as fresh.

I was in the hotel business for a while and saw some pretty strange guest requests:
When Elizabeth Taylor was booked as a guest she requested that the walls in her room/suite be painted the same shade of blue/violet as her eyes. They kept the paint color code in her guest file, and charged her to custom paint and then repaint back to regular. Later heard she did this everywhere she stayed.
Had a guest request 15 gallons of whole milk at room temperature daily so she could take milk baths.
Guy checked in at a little after 2:00 AM with two companions (dancers/strippers) then orders three magnums of Louis Roderer champagne {the equivalent of 6 regular bottles) and one shrimp cocktail. from Room Service.

I stayed in a Motel in Lubbock once. There was a sign over the sink in the bathroom..... "Don't Clean Birds in the Sink".
And I know who "Jeff" is.
