Anyone driving a 2017-2019 gas F250 Lariat? I have always been a GM person, but I sure do like the looks of the new Fords. I know nothing about them but like them. Lol. I am not interested in the Power Stroke diesel. I have found a new 2018 loaded truck at a very decent price.

My parents have a few of them on their farm in S Dakota. I think one of them is a gas truck. They seem to like them and they also drive fords for their everyday cars. I like them, but the 250s and up are outta my price range for sure.

I researched them hard, almost all answers said the 6.2 was near bullet proof and a great motor. Not the strongest, but did its job when you got the rpms up into the powerband. Fuel mileage reports were between 10-14mpg. Guys liked it overall with a few saying that it wasnt powerful enough. Rumors say there is a V10 coming out in a year or two.

I just bought a 2016. I really like the truck. Gas mileage isn't great but you can buy alot of gas for the price difference from the diesel. I'm getting 12-13 on the highway and probably around 9 in town and towing. I have 35" mud tires on mine so that doesn't help. It does everything I need it to do .

I have a stock 2017 XL F250 crew LB 4x4 6.2L w/ 3.73. Only 18k on it but it's been a good truck, so far. Been getting 14mpg mixed, like clockwork. Unloaded, it's a joy to drive with plenty of pep. Weighted down with a heavy load, it's what I would call adequate. It trucks down the road pretty good at 65 towing my 9k+ lb TT, but if you throw mountains or hard winds in the mix, it can leave you wanting a little more. You can't tell a average boat is behind it if you don't look at the fuel gauge. If you can get the lower gears, I think it'd be worth it.

It is a swb Lariat with 3.73 gears. The dealer and I are at $1500 difference and $400 in options. Thanks for the feedback y'all.
All thing considered,my 2015 Sierra 1500 with 5.3 3.42 gears pulls better than my 2005 2500hd 6.0 4.10 gears. But the 2500 is 10 mph regardless it empty or towing.

I have a 2017 F250 Super Crew 4x4 Gasser and love it. 36,000 miles. Well love it all but the 70 mph front end Death Wobble. Yep, has happened 3 times to me in the last month. Hit a small bump in the road and hang on. Gotta shut it down to stop it. Google it and see where you are. No fix for it and Ford looks the other way it seems.

Theres a service bulletin for the 17s and up but 99 out of 100 times its usually caused by the tires

I like them, but the 250’s and up are outta my price range for sure. I was looking at the new 19's Thursday and was surprised. The 150 FX King Ranch super crew w-eco boost was $66,000 and the 250 Lariat super crew w- moon roof and 6.7 Turbo was same price. Both were loaded.

I have a 2013 f350 and mine did that wobble one time running 70 mph pulling a heavy load and hit a rough patch in the road. Scared the carp out of me. Thought I was going to lose it before I got it shut down.

So is the death wobble 17s and newer or not? My f350 has 80k miles and has never experienced this with any of the tires Ive run. Came with 31s, then put on 35s and now running 33s.

I haven't experienced it. Drives nice on the highway and we have some crappy roads out here.

I have a 17' 6.7 and my neighbor has the 6.2
he pulls a 30' travel trailer with his....gives him no issues. I picked a diesel in large part because of resale and me liking to pull trailers at 75-85 mph.
In all actuality, if re-sale is not a concern, a 6.2 liter gas will be fine for 75% of people who would need a 3/4 ton platform over a 1/2 ton.

I have a '18 model 6.2L XLT and no issues. Plenty of power for my needs. A redesign is coming next year '20 for the Superduty line. Rumor has it that the 6.2 will be replaced with a 7.3L for the gassers.
