Just finished installing my Garmin 93sv that I bought yesterday and really love it. They have on special for $599 and couldn't pass it up. Gonna try it out maybe Wednesday.

BPS. Carl in electronics is the guy to see. When I left yesterday they still had 6 left. I think Cabelas had 3. Awesome graph for the price. Touch screen too.

You're going to love it. Just make sure you have it locked in tight on that quick release!

10-4. The thing is pretty light for it's size but if I'm in rough water I'll just lay it flat on the carpet.

Yup mine at the console ended up in my lap. A few more inches and it would have been at the bottom of the lake. I now have it bungee strapped.

I love my two, but I almost lost my back one on the first trip it took with it. Hit someones wake at 40mph, and had it end up in my lap. I used to be a Lowrance guy, but Garmin surpassed all my expectations.

Was it on a Ram mount ? Mine is on the bow so on the way to the lake or in rough water I'll just lay it flat on the carpet. My Helix on the console is mounted on one of these, it ain't going anywhere.

I had one on the bow bounce out, skid across the deck, and end up in the floor by my feet. Total user error. If you lock it in right it will not come out. There is a very distinct sound it makes when it's right.

Oh, I finally get what you're talking about. Yeah the graph snaps into the mount. I'll double check it often. Thanks for the heads up.

I bought some big rubber bands on Amazon and they keep it place before I hit lake . When on the lake I just have to make sure the click in and then make sure they are locked into place. I have heard of a guy losing his into the lake.

Im on the bubble about buying one of these for mapping vs a Helix 10... Anyone have experience with both that could make a recommendation?

If it wasn't touch, I'd say you have something to think about.
At that price it's a steal. But I already have 2 (no touch)
