AC in the house is blowing cool air.. not warm.. is that a pilot light that needs to be lit some place?

A/C is supposed to blow cool air. Switch the thermostat to HEAT.

Turn it to emergency heat until you get it looked at. Should be heat strips in it that kick on in the emergency setting

If you smell gas turn it off immediately and open all doors and windows. I’d be inclined to pop the panel on the unit and see if there are instructions for relighting the pilot light if it’s out

Count the blinking led light sequence. (2 slow blinks , 3 fast etc..)
Read diagnosis on panel cover.
Could be air flow restriction.(change filter)
Bad igniter.
Flame out sensors.

If you have a newer furnace you do not have a standing pilot and if you have a standing pilot you have a really old unit and need to start saving money for a new one.

There are a lot of things that could keep it from heating most of them being safety switches. You are going to need it looked at.
