Tactical AF. I wonder if you have to wear your 550 cord bracelet when you fire that thing?
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

Check out the YouTube videos of that thing, it will fail. Nobody can handle the recoil. Looks cool, not practical. Pistol grips have been available for shotguns for years. A full stock is easier to control firing from the hip, but the pistol grip is no big deal, and easier to move around. The angle of the new one may be easier on your wrist than a 90-ish degree degree pistol grip. I've had a couple in years past, and drilling 6 1/8 inch holes near the end of the barrel (3 each) at 10 and 2 o'clock almost eliminates muzzle climb. The idea isn't new. Bonnie Parker had a chopped down to a pistol grip Browning Auto 5 she carried until her death. It was easy to swing around and fire from inside a car. Before the Gun Control Act of 1968 came along, and made sawed off shotguns with a barrel less than 16" illegal- or a NFA Class III item, it was common to see chopped down shotguns and .22s. Everybody called them 'rabbit pistols'. They were great for hunting rabbits,,,,,, and committing armed robbery.

t what legitimate use would this gun have. Is. Home defense is it's primary market, for when things go bump in the night. They're more accurate for most people shooting in the dark than a handgun. And like the old stagecoach robbers used to say, "The bigger the gun is that you stick under someone's nose, the less chance you'll need to use it". A short barreled pump would be much easier for someone to handle and much safer.

As if the naked shockwave birds head grip wasn't cool enough, you can now add an awesome leather wrap deal with some hangin dingleberry things.

I bought a brand new Mossberg 500 Defender Combo in 1986 at a place called "Service Merchandise". Paid $286, still have the receipt. It came with two interchangeable barrels, short and skeet. Also came with the standard stock or a Pistol grip. I've shot it with the pistol grip and it is not as bad as you would think. But don't hold it close to your cheek to sight the bead, it will come back and get your attention. I still have it and keep the short barrel on it with the normal stock and a sling. It will shoot 3" magnums with 00 buck.

I bought a brand new Mossberg 500 Defender Combo in 1986 at a place called "Service Merchandise". Remington offered a deal like that for a similar price. It had a short open cylinder barrel with rifle sights for slugs and a longer one with screw in chokes for bird hunting. It looked like the Wingmaster receiver, but was Aluminum and about half price of the steel wingmaster. It didn't come with a pistol grip, but Packmayer made one to fit it for about $30.

A few manufacturers took advantage of a loophole of sorts in the ATF/SBR rules... it's the odd grip and smoothbore barrel that prevent this from being classified as a SBR (or whatever the shotgun equivalent of an SBR is called) IIRC. Made a big splash earlier this year but as already mentioned, it's very hard to use effectively, and mostly fell out of favor except for those who have the "look at what I got..." mindset.

r those who have the "look at what I got..." mindset. About the only impractical thing like that I ever wanted became a NFA Class III item several years ago was the 'Striker' and/or 'street sweeper'. They were a 12 or maybe 15 round 12 guage shotgun revolver that looked sort of like a big giant pistol.
