Made it out to Roberts yesterday to see what was going on out there. Fished a couple of hours, Nada. Looked around and didn't find fish on the bridges or few brush piles I checked. Didn't look by the dam. Water level dropping with the release, still about 4.5 feet high and may be a while for things to settle down I guess. Has anybody done anything out there lately?

Only fish below the spillway if you like fishing shoulder to shoulder with minimal casting room

We were trying to find sandies schooled up yesterday, fished all morning and didn't get a bite. around 1 we found a decent school right by a brush pile just around the west side of cates point. actually caught a couple crappies mixed in with the sandies.

Its that time of year when theyre starting to not relate to structure and theyre chasing bait in deep water. Ray Roberts always seems to be tough main lake this time of year

We fished yesterday as well. We fished from 9:00am till 2:00 and only had one crappie to show for it. Covered a lot of water trying. Crazy thing was when my bro-in-law was getting the truck I was jacking around in the boat waiting on him. I moved to get out of the way of a boat coming in and happened to look at my side scan and saw a wad of fish just out from the ramp. Dropped in on them and it was all crappie! We launched at Isle Du bois and I caught them in the creek that's leading to the ramp inside of the buoys. It was nuts. They must have ran the shad up in there.

I do have a question though, I always hear that if they are letting out water the fishing will be bad. Does anyone know why that is?

Fished several brush piles today and nada. Just found a fast moving school of sandbass near a brush pile and only managed to catch 5 of them. Beautiful day on the lake and only saw 3 other boats.
