Not a fan of his music but I respect people that are self made, chasing a dream and becoming incredibly successful and rich at it. Says a lot this far ino his career that he is still butting buts in seats.
As for his cheating, hell country music was founded on cheating and drinking. Hard to argue with that. He's done more than I ever will in music. I've written a handful of songs. Two are potentially big sellers. I can sing like there's no tomorrow. Will jam all night around a small group of people I know. They all keep trying to talk me into fronting a band. One small problem. Stage fright. Anyone that can get up in front of strangers and give it their all deserves some respect. Mitch Hedberg has tremendous stage fright, but he was able to get past it. You should look into how he overcame it.

I'm willing to cut him a little slack for the simple fact that he seems to like fluffy women. Women with a little padding makes my eyes too.

According to the RIAA, he is the best-selling solo albums artist in the United States with 148 million domestic units sold, ahead of Elvis Presley, and is second only to The Beatles in total album sales overall.[5] He is also one of the world's best-selling artists of all time, having sold more than 170 million records.[6]
speaks for itself.

Garth couldn't handle playing second fiddle to George Strait. Now that George is retired (or just doing limited performances) Garth figure he'll take another shot at being the "King" of Country Music.
The only good thing his music did was introduce the greatness of Chris LeDoux to a larger audience.

speaks for itself. To be fair Elvis didn't have Columbia House slinging a bazillion albums. He also didn't live in the era of crappy cassette tapes. I know for me personally. I replaced several cassettes more than once because they would get eaten.

Chris's son Ned sounds just like him. He has some music on Spotify.

I've bought them on multiple platforms, multiple times. at any rate, he certainly was no one off.

If by second fiddle you mean selling twice the amount of albums as George then ok. George is just above Shania Twain.

Only two artists in any genre that I just can't stand no matter what. Nirvana and Rascal Flats. Both make me want to stay myself in the ears. So I guess Garth isn't too bad. IMO
