I wish them well and agree, it does have a fly by the seat of your pants feel. Why publicly post a schedule with no lakes ? That is just silly. If you want to let the guys know that is one thing, but this is just silly. Fans need dates and lakes to make arrangements to attend, so releasing a schedule with no water does nothing , except make you look a little wheels off. Very hard task to do in a short amount of time, but something like this was a easy decision to say if we cannot put a full complete product ( schedule with lakes and areas) then hold off. They've been transparent with this whole process. They are negotiating locations, checking cell coverage etc (PS, they know the lakes already). They're doing in weeks what normally takes months. Why does this seem silly to you? Nothing wrong with locking in the dates once they know. If they didn't do that everyone would be sitting around complaining that there were no updates... It seems silly to publicly post dates without water. I whole heartedly agree they are doing a lot in a short time. But there is no reason in my opinion to post a date that we will be fishing, when you do not have a lake. It is just an unfinished product, so yes I question why you would post and make a big deal out of a schedule with no lake attached. Do you see the NFL post we are playing on Sundays but not announce which teams ? Or who is home and away. I think locking in lakes is great, telling the guys fishing it, here are the dates in private is fine, but I think it looks half [censored] to promote a schedule and all the pluses of it without the thing that you need the most as an angler, a body of water. It is also the thing you need the most as a fan. Whether they come near you or me, we need to know that to attend. If you and your family know we would like to attend on such and such weekend, it is important to know is it geographically feasible ? So that is why I made my comment. I wish these guys the best, I just think this was a poor decision that shows things are pretty much fly by the seat of our pants. By seasons end a lot of these things will be figured out and hopefully running smooth. Again, theyve openly said the time constraints theyre under are unprecedented and that they will make some mistakes year one. Theyre updating what they can when they can. Its really that simple. I believe their point is, why does MLF feel the need to make announcements to the public with basically zero content. It makes them look incompetent and unprepared. And it provides reason for skepticism in the fans, sponsors, and maybe the participants. Give the anglers the info as it comes but wait to provide the info to the public once everything is locked down.

Lakes don't matter. It's not like you can schedule time to go watch a weigh in. You'll be watching it on tv

Yes, that is exactly it. I understand the challenges faced, I just think when you are presenting a new product, in this case the tour, it should be as polished as possible. People can think I am right and People can think I am wrong and that is fine. But I would point out you probably would have to look very hard to find a legit sport that has a schedule with no venues. I wish them well and if it is geographically possible I look forward to attending in person.

Theres not one pro or organization that wants spectators on the water. And no thats not the only way to get communities to contribute. And on the last point Johnny isnt the majority owner, not even close. Its going to all work itself out and should be fun to watch this season.

We just ask for a little something in return. And a Sugar Daddy is the money man. Without a money man this isnt happening.

I'm with Legend le-195 and Sinkey here. I think they rushed this deal for sure and are trying to figure it out on the fly.
