Riding with a buddy to Missouri to pick up a new boat tomorrow. Wanting to fish a good lake on the way back. Can I get some different lanes to consider? We fished Grand Lake last year when we went and got his other one. Not wanting to do that lane a second time.
Thanks

What part of Missouri?
Table Rock is beautiful and pretty good fishing...in Oklahoma, Broken Bow is beautiful....not sure how to catch them there though, but I usually have the family with me and we're just vacationing

Eufaula or Tenkiller, both excellent jerk bait and a-rig lakes. Probably still a good spinnerbait bite going on Eufaula too. They whacked the smallmouth on Tenkiller last Saturday jackpot.

Fished out of bucksaw marina last week. No good. I had one get off at the boat probably 3 1/2 to 4 on a shack head but that was it. All the fish seemed to be about 15 to 20 foot deep. I would go fish lake of the ozarks much better lake. I don't think truman has really come back that good after the kill (numbers wise). I have not been in a long time but Stockton is a good lake.

Table Rock has been off for a couple months now . But this time of the year Jerkbaits and jigs. Truman you need to put in at Starett Creek at Warsaw and run up the Tebo or Osage arms. Bucksaw area sucks and that part of the lake can be difficult to run and is almost always muddy. Lake of the Ozarks Wiggle warts, jerkbaits and jigs on docks. Bull Shoals is a good lake also. Stockton a really good lake also. I fish these lake Spring Summer and fall every year and from there originally. Still come back to Texas for the winter though.

This with Tenkiller being the first choice.

Yeah, Tenkiller is about 13,000 acres and Eufaula is about 105,000, Tenkiller would be better for a first timer. Beautiful lake, big smallmouth and largemouth. But Eufaula is my favorite this time of year.
