Have any of you Dallas or Collin County residents had any recent success there? I've fished one of the ponds with no luck, but was just curious.

Wow, I remember that park. I fished there a lot when I was a kid. I caught my first bass caught on a lure there. I only fished the pond at the south end of the park. Caught most of my bass in the northeast corner. Caught some nice cats and crappie there too. I haven't been there in 25 years.

the only pond worth fishing is the one on Renner Rd. You have to walk east over the bridge to get to it...no parking over there. the other ponds have been drained and maintained many times which have hurt the fish population in them. The pond IN the park isn't bad but there's a ton of people who fish to eat from there so it's always getting pounded.

You might try fishing the creek also, have had good luck there.

You might try fishing the creek also, have had good luck there. Primarily Crappie or have you caught bass as well?
