Just wondering if anyone has tried the 6th Sense Provoke 106X jerkbaits. If so, would appreciate your thoughts on them.... THANKS!

I have a couple. They sink right out of the box, and not a super slow sink. I thought maybe I just got a bad one but the next one did it too. I found the h2o baits to work pretty good. I just like the colors of the 6th sense better

I have a few, I like the DD version for fish in a bit deeper water, good action, and incredible paint schemes.

All I can tell you is that they catch a lot of fish. But that doesn�t mean a lot.

I was just looking into new jerk baits and read reviews on 6th Sense jerkbaits on Tacklewarehouse, I believe several complained that they constantly fouled the hooks during casts or while working the bait. I opted to go with the Duo Realis baits, they get great reviews and are less than Luck Craft Pointers (my current favorites), we'll see how these do, can't wait for this good JB weather to kick in!

They just updated these baits to fix those issues. Great action and paint jobs on the baits. For the price you can't beat them. They are all I use aside from when I feel confident enough to throw a 110.

That said, the older ones did tend to sink some. I've never experienced it as back as the other gentlemen stated, but again, the newer version is out that corrected it.

I haven�t tried them but why use anything except a megabass 110?
It is the fish catchinest jerk bait I�ve ever used.

Thanks for the feedback and I don't disagree the Megabass Ito Vision 110 is king. That said, I am always open to trying new baits if they perform well. After all, I bet the fish have seen a lot of 110s and probably not as many 106Xs, perhaps that is an advantage. Also, 6th Sense has a color I absolutely love that I don't see in the MB line (which is crazy considering how many options there are for 110s LOL).

Because the colors suck? I guess. Lol. I haven�t found the right color V110. But, I have found several colors in other brands that work around the DFW lakes. But, having changed out the Katsuge out barb hooks to Gamas, at least when I do fool a bass with a V110 the hooks no longer break off. Haha.

Eh...$25 for a Uki sig on top isn�t worth it. The fish can�t read. My fish like the sub $10 jerks better.

I agree on colors. I found a gal on Facebook that can almost perfectly match any color. And she is very affordable. If I have a color I really like I just send her some baits and one of the color I like and she matches it.
I change the hooks on all of my treble hook baits. I like triple grips both short and regular shanks so no matter what comes on the baits I put the triple grips in them. Mainly a confidence thing but I also lose a lot less fish in them.

Different strokes for different folks. All good. I always say use what works best for you.
