I fish a fair amount of drop shot and upgraded my ree to a decent Shimanol, but still fishing an old ML Academy rod. Any suggestions. Generally fish 10lb lforo, but might switch over to braid with a floro leader. Like to spend $150 or less. I've caught up to 6.5 lbs on that rod, but it's only 6 1/2 feet long without a lot of strength to set the hook.

Get all the way to submit order and still not seeing any discount. I ordered some lures on Thurs and got the 20% off once you got to the last step.

MajorCraft Don Iovino Custom Finesse. Baitcast or Spinning model both are great rods. Priced way below what you are looking for.

NRX 822S DSR is one of the best rods I have fished. The Megabass Destroyer Addermine is great too.

If you are near San Marcos Academy has a decent Shimano Exage Drop shot rod on clearance for $50. I use a Dobyns fury 702SF Medium Light for drop shots and shaky heads.

I would do this. Fantastic rod and the price is right.

Already ordered the MajorCraft. Under $100 with the discount. It's a medium and my current rod I use for finesse is a med/light so this gives me options depending on the wind/weight I need to throw. Thanks guys.
