I've been on call this holiday weekend. Thursday I went out for some fishing before Thanksgiving dinner, but got paged for an onsite visit and only got about 20 minutes of fishing in before I had to call it quits.

Friday the wind was really blowing so it was a no go.

Yesterday the wind wasn't as bad so I headed out. The first pond I didn't get a bite at. I moved over to a different one and had better luck.

Caught about 10 bass and hooked and lost 3 or 4 more. Most were very small (8 - 10 inches), but these 3 were about 3/4 to 1 lb.

The larger ones bit after a hard strip. I caught all of the fish on a size 10 rubber legged dragonfly fished on my 4 wt.

Not sure Capt. Mac but its quite a bit cooler than 3 weeks ago. It's a pretty shallow retention pond and the warm up last weekend probably helped get them a little more active.
