Thanks andrew and vogey it wore me out..it was "Ewoks" second time time fishing first time catching fish so he had a great time we kayaked 3 miles of the cibolo this morning caught a few nice channels then he metioned a pond a old fella he knew had so we went down there after the river ...i was happy with the 8"+blugill we were catching back to back then the cats started to roll in and i was pretty excited then the redfish just blew my mind out of its protective case the man who owns the tank said he had no clue they were in there hasnt fished it in 8yrs

Awesome post and some super nice fish. Good job Clayton and Ewoks! Those Reds had to be one BIG surprise. Bet the fights were "SUPER"!

Only Wildman could catch Redfish out of a stock tank. Next will be Sharks out of a bath tub. My land, those are some true trophies. Ought to submit that Red for private water body record. Not much competition there. Congrats.

Thanks Banker Pot Licker Jamie Chascat and Rick for the replies I was thinking the same state private lake waterbody record but was also wondering if it would be considered a freshwater drum since it was caught in fresh water ?

Nice fish guys. Never seen a Red caught from a pond before. That had to be one heck of a surprise catch.
