Not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this question, but here goes:
I fish mostly for catfish or striper using live shad and it generally makes a real mess of my clothes (jeans and long-sleeve pullover). I'm interested in finding some pants / bib to wear fishing. There are a lot of options out there and a wide range of prices as well. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for and thought I might look for some feedback on this subject. I probably don't want to spend over $250.
I'm looking for something that is durable and cleans up easily. I fish in warm weather more often than cooler weather, so warmth probably isn't an issue - although I might consider different pants for warm weather and for cool weather. I don't think I want waders. The only time I would get my feet/shoes wet is when launching the boat.
I'm also looking to get some 1/2 finger fishing gloves. Any recommendations on those?
Anyway, I would be interested to hear what some of you have used, what works well and what doesn't, etc.
Thanks! JB

artic armor is the best. Shop around and they are cheaper than cabellas and bass pro 100 mile per hour stuff. Way better. Plus they will float a 300 lb man which is a plus if you fall in. Jb fishing supply has them on sale for 1/2 price. 139 to 159. Johnny

Thanks for the tips guys. I ordered the Arctic Armor bib and jacket from www.idigear.com for $235. Seemed like a good price from what I've seen. I'm hoping it will arrive before next Wednesday so that I can try it out over Thanksgiving weekend.

Let us know, or can someone else say how the sizing fits. The IDIGEar website sizing charts show Way bigger than "normal" I'm 6' 44 chest 34 waist and by that I would wear a X-Small Jacket and Small Pants. What is this, Kardashian Sizing?

Fishing gloves can be expensive. I buy the glove pictured from Home Depot, cut the fingers off to size desired. A fray spray can be used for a neater look. As I recall, the pack was $5 at HD at the time for a five pack. I make several and leave pairs in the boat, truck, etc. If misplaced, no biggie.

Denny I was a little confused by the size charts as well. I also noticed that they use the same size charts for products from different manufacturers. I'm fairly thin - 5'10", 145#, wear a 38S jacket and 30x30 pants. I bought the small bib and small jacket. I could easily smuggle a small child inside this fishing suit! I guess that's ok if you're wearing a lot of layers. I can put the jacket on while wearing a medium weight coat (heavy coat by N. Texas standards). Looking forward to spending some time on Texoma next week. I hope the weather cooperates, but if it doesn't I'm well prepared.

Dave clearly said you don't want anything but a Tee short n Boxers or tighty whities. That there is no reason whatsoever to wear jeans or sweats under them, you'll cook in anything above -10.
I'm ordering Mediums on Monday. Likely the Black n Blue Light versions.
