Fishing Camelot Bell in December. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also, trying to decide whether to fish Camelot Bell or Wolf Pack. If no one else has booked a trip when we are there we have the option to fish both, but wanted to confirm one or the other before then.
Thank you in advance.

Both have giants but I personally like Wolfpack better. Bring some heavy line, braid is best. As far as baits, just normal baits will catch them. Chatterbaits, big worms, jigs, crankbaits. Just go fishing really and dont be scared to slow down

Just got home from there but was deer hunting and not fishing. Mike showed me around and was very impressed with what I was shown. Will be fishin in the spring, he fed the fish on Woldfpack and only the perch and talapia came up, water temp may have been too cold for the largemouth to come feed on the bait fish, can't wait to make the trip back. Mike is a great guy and runs a first class operation.

Ive only fished Camelot... best advise I can give you is 50-65 lb braid and very stout rods. Those fish fight harder than any other bass Ive caught. Heavy wire hooks are a must also. Best bait for me was a big ole 3/4 oz mop jig in black brown and amber with a swim senko trailer. Enjoy your trip, Mike is a wealth of knowledge, absorb as much as you can!

I could be wrong but I think is 1500$ a day and the cabin is 150$ a night.

Would be surprised if they allowed you to bring your own boat. Dream trip right there!

You can bring your boat but it has to be clean and dry inside and out. Understandably he doesnt want ANY invasive anything getting in those ponds.

This is the correct price for Two anglers. One person is $1000/ day. Three guys is $2K/ day. Price is the same for either lake.
