2006 Skeeter 250 Yamaha. Whenever I gun it to get on plane it cuts out. Once on plane run great. Just started after last fill up. I put stabill in the fuel when I filled up. I am thinking water in gas. What to do to fix?

Have you upgraded your fuel lines to ethanol resistant? Have you changed your fuel filter?

Have you changed any batteries lately or is the only difference gas related? I had a bad post on my cranking battery that was shutting my new Skeeter down while on plane. It was like flipping the switch, on plane and hauling and it was like I turned the key off and the boat died. Dealer swapped battery after noticing starting battery post would spin, therefore connection would get lost with any jarring of the boat.

Just started after last fill up
You answered your own question. Or diagnosed your boats issue in your statement.

Drain that gas out and put it in your truck, so you dont waste it. Then buy some different gas for the boat.

Are you changing ALL of your fuel filters every year?

Start with the easiest fix first and change you water separator. Then go from there if that doesn't work.

Thanks for info. I haven't changed the fuel filter in awhile. I am pretty sure it's just the gas. Any thoughts on a fuel additive I can add to help it out. Wants try the easy stuff before digging into it too deep or too expensive. I was thinking about adding some sea foam and maybe a middle grade gas to help. Any thoughts on the higher grade gas making it run too hot?

The mid grade fuel will not help. Change your fuel filter and always add Seafoam when you fill up. Seafoam helps keep the engine clean.

Disconnect fuel line at the motor and pump some of the fuel into a glas jar and let it sit about 30 minutes to see if fuel has water in it. My last boat with a Yamaha sat up for a year and before I used it I did this but into a 5 gallon bucket. Water settles to bottom so when your bow rises up water is getting pushed up to fuel pickup from tank. If not check fuel water separator if it has one, then fuel filter under cowling. If it's an hpdi it has 3 or 4 filter under the cowling at different points, some you cant see.

Get rid of the gas. Dont add anything to it. Drain it. Outboards cost too much to risk it. Your daily driver can burn junky gas easily. Your boat? Not so much.

Just went thru this took running it on an auxilary tank to diagnose issue with pickup hose in tank, replaced it all lines and bulb and no more problems.
Watch it happen, make it happen, or say what the hell happened. Capt. Phil Harris F/V Cornelia Marie RIP

all of the above are good suggestions the main thing is if its not running right it will not run itself back to good motor health as if it is a fuel supply problem its starving for fuel an can lead to scoring of cylinders.
