Weather is bad. No Big Fish Day on Lake Livingston today

The weather is AWFUL!! I live and fish the river part of north Lake Livingston and the river is a mess. Even launching and landing is tough since the launch is flooded and the river is rolling hard and fast. Went out last week end and managed to get up into a creek. We caught a few small ones and one 15 lb blue. The gar were ferocious though and kept us on our toes. We were fishing tied to a couple of trees in 5 or 6 feet of water where there normally isn't any water at all. One of the trees was a hickory tree and the nuts pelted us pretty often when the wind would pick up. The water temp was 66 degrees and muddy.

Got a 12 lbr before giving up at 9 pm. 6-8-12. Sucked.

We did ok on 11th several eaters a 16 an a 28 on Lake Ray Hubbard

So Now I�m thinking Big Fish Thursday.........

Not sure about the day after this front bigpoppa but there will be a bunch of big fish caught Saturday morning that�s for sure!

Well I�m fishing Thurs. / Fri so Hopefully it turns on before Sat..........

Well you can�t catch one sitting at home that�s for sure! Just takes 1 good fish for me to break out into a victory dance! I�ll be wearing my dancing shoes come Saturday morning ready to do the Big Blue Tango! Just wish Army Corps would turn off my floodgates so I can catch some dang fish!
