I'm going to be fishing Lake Nacogdoches around Thanksgiving, I'm just looking for some guidance for the lake, I normally fish Toledo Bend. I was looking at a map of the lake and was wondering on the south end can I run anywhere and not worry about stumps, flooded timber and is it the same way north of where a either a phone line or electrical line crosses the lake. Also what are the best colors to use as far as plastics, crankbaits, etc.
Thanks, Kevin

I would imagine the one thing to look for would be floaters.

Good lake. I live right behind it and fish often. South of the power lines you can run anywhere. Past the lines north stay to the right side about 50-60 yds off the shore lines and you are okay. Most timber is in the middle north of the power lines to the island.
