I have been dealing with my migraines again, there is a new medication out that is a self injection that you do once a month that has had remarkable results. So I was excited to get on it, but, my insurance doesnt cover it.

How much without insurance? I will find out for sure tomorrow. They just called me to tell me that insurance wouldnt cover it but I do get 2 free months, when I pick it up tomorrow I will find out.

Have you tried rizatriptan? Fortunately it works for me but some people are allergic to it. Be very careful with that topamax, I had a very bad experience with it. Whats your dosage?

If the self injection drug you're speaking of is erenumab here is a link to some info on it. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-ne...effects-n866696From the article - "The drug's maker, Amgen, said U.S. list price is for the once monthly self-injection treatment will be $575 per month or $6,900 annually." Dang! That's just ridiculous
