Will be going to Lake Tawakoni mid November. Never been in the area. Can anyone suggest some good places to eat in the general vicinity?

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

You like meat? I mean, like, a GREAT steak?
Four Winds Steakhouse. Right off I-20. The best in East Texas. google em - you'll only see 5 star ratings. Make a reservation and bring your wallet. $$$$ but definitely worth it.

If you find yourself on the northeast side of the lake....at the intersection of 276 an 47 there is a new and very good BBQ shop that also has breakfast. Here is their Facebook link https://www.facebook.com/AKs-BBQ-Burgers-1835335633153778/?ref=br_rs

best thing I can suggest is stay at Lake Fork (15 minutes away). eat over in that area. lots of great food there, and not as much meth related crime. Lake Fork Marina or Lake Fork Resort get my vote!
