It is just the lake settling after the surge of water. Hubbard Creek did the same.

They are not releasing any water at all. One of the gates was leaking some flow over the weekend but has stopped since Sunday. Lake is settling some and should be expected. Sure does look good from my porch!

Just wait, the two straws called Midland and Odessa will have it sucked down to 30 foot low by summer.

Well ain't you just a ray of sunshine. Sadly its true though and as Ivie drops they'll pull from Twin Buttes. Guess we'll have to enjoy it while it lasts.

What the heck is going on out at Ivie? Looked at WATERDATAFORTEXAS this morning and it shows almost a 6' drop from yesterday. Something isn't right.

USGS looks correct now, it shows there was an equipment malfunction yesterday.
