Hi,

Anyone have any reports on Rayburn? Water Temp, Clarity, Grass, Etc. I know its just over 3ft low. Heading up on the 14th and wanted to get a game plan together.

Thanks

It should get better if the water temp levels off. That big front with the rain the whole week screwed them up pretty good. The should go into a full winter pattern pretty quick.

On Sunday we fished shallow. We fished mid lake. Grass was in good shape and the water seems to be rising gradually with the recent rains. We caught 12 with jigs and worms all in less than 2ft. Biggest was over 7 lbs but the others were around 2 lbs. We would look for some schooling action in the drains and then go all the way in shallow and catch a few. We tried to catch the schoolies but that seemed impossible. Hope this helps you get a few fish

You can catch them almost any way you want to on Rayburn right now...as said above it is only going to get better the next few weeks. Rayburn is an absolute blast this time of the year.

Yesterday any cove that had wind blowing in it the fish were active. 3-5 pounders were busting the shad. Looked like stripers schooling.

Catching 50-100 bass a day out deep around shad. Don't stop unless you see the fish on your depth finders. The bite should only get better as the weather cools.
