Went to Lake Murray today and launched my kayak from Buzzards roost.
Fished from the marina and tower down both sides of the cove.
Then went around point where tower is and fished almost all the way to the dam.
Tried rooster tails, chatter baits, jointed minnow, storm minnows, flukes, tube worms and curly tailed chartruse grubs.
Fished some around rocks, trees, grass close to shore.
Mainly following 15-20 foot contour.
Saw a few single fish on the finder in 14-25 feet range.
Finder went out on way to dam so guessed about where this depth range was and looked for structure near shore.
Also fished around submerged island east of last point before the dam.
Did not get a single bite today.

Nice warm day with water temp of 73 degrees.
Not much wind till mid afternoon when it picked up to probably a little over 10Mph and started to die down about 6:00.
Although not a great fishing day, it was a beautiful day to be on the lake. Hope we continue to get a few more before the water starts getting cold.
