My brothers and I are trying to plan a spring time fly fishing camp trip to the Texas coast. Does any one have any recommendations of where to go to be able to camp and have some good fishing?

Hlane, the Texas coast is what most would consider a big area. Its just over 350 miles as the crow flies from RGV to Sabine and counting the islands and rivers it includes well over 3300 miles of coastline. That's big in my book. The Open Beaches Act makes that 3300 miles all open to your use.
Perhaps you could narrow down your search area some and we could give some tips.

Corpus to Port A is the area we are looking at. Thank you for the education on the Texas Open Beaches Act I had never even heard of that.

Spring time is fantastic for hitting the Port Aransas Jetty. You will often see schools of jack, flounder and big trout working bait in casting range. I have also caught all kinds of weird species there like mangrove snapper and even a small warsaw grouper (though that was in my conventional tackle days). I would be prepared to contend with unpredictable winds in spring though. It may be dead calm one day and howling 30+ the next, so if you can, bringing everything from a 6 - 10 weight would maximize your opportunities. If it's guide recommendations you're looking for, I'll add JT Van Zandt to the list, incredibly laid back and great guide to spend a day with on the flats.
