 Helix standby mode

How do you put a Helix in standby mode to turn sonar off when fishing shallow water? I looked in the operations CD but could not locate
it.

If you have current software, push the power button quickly to get the express menu. Standby is the bottom choice in that menu.
Sonar OFF is also a choice in that menu as well as in the Setup menu. When you turn Sonar OFF, the unit becomes as Chart Plotter if you have a Sonar/GPS model.
