Tower Bay was open last Thursday, but locked up by Saturday morning. Checked several other ramps on the west side of the lake and could not find one open. I hear that the new ramp at Little Elm is high enough for the lake to come up several feet, but not sure if this is true. Does anybody know at what elevation it closes? Had to go over to Murrell park on Grapevine to find an open ramp Saturday. The high water ramp there will most likely close if the lake comes up a couple of more feet. Managed to find a nice brush pile at the top of a drop off and catch a few fish. Nothing to write home about, but better than cleaning gutters on the house. Saved that task for second half of Cowboy game.

Stewart creek is open but the dock is underwater...You can still beach your boat on the nice steep grassy embankment and go park.

Little Elm IS open. And the Corp started releasing water yesterday at noon and it's still going. I was out there yesterday and caught fish everywhere I fished. Went back out today and didn't catch as many as yesterday but the quality was still there. Both days several 1 1/2 to 1 3/4# fish. Whether brush or timber, all fish caught both days 20 - 25' on dark colored plastic. If you're a member of the 121 Marina, the members only ramp is operational.

I live in Shady Shady shores, and will just give the heads up that Big Sandy (shady shores ramp) was closed before the high water for scheduled maintenance. It will not re-open until March 10th of 2019 I believe. Bummer cause its 1/4 mile drive for me.
Some of you may know this, others not. Just thought I would post in case some weren't aware.

Thanks for the input guys. Good to know there are some open ramps on east side. Just looked and COE is releasing 5500cfs. Hope the rain this afternoon is light and they can continue to drop the lake.

It's interesting to note that the Lew's water level has not been updated since the 23rd - the only lake in the state I think. Would think with the gates open conditions by now should be a lot better. Anyone been on the lake in the last couple of days? I am close to Stewart Creek and the last post on that ramp is that the dock is under water. Hopefully it's better for the weekend.

It has to stop raining for the lake to go down. It came up another foot from Wednesdays rain. It will take every bit of 2 months with no rains for the lake to be normal. Ray Roberts is also releasing water into the lake slowing the fall.
