Searching for a waterfront home/place to stay at Sam Rayburn for 2019 McDonalds tournament. Would like a place where I can beach my boat overnight so I don't have to fight the crowds at the ramp.

That would be a tuff find and I'm sure expensive too.

Just my .02, but be really careful with that plan on that lake. Had buddies do the same thing on different years. One had his boat swamped by an overnight storm and the other had a water moccasin decide to take up residence overnight under the driver's console. Neither of those ended well. For the lodging, you can try Mike Wheatley at 409-382-9166. He has multiple units in Westwood subdivision on the SE side of the lake. Great remote neighborhood, ramp, etc.

No such thing as �waterfront� on Rayburn. You can get close but not waterfront

No private ownership on Rayburn. It is a Corp of Engineer lake.

Lakefront on Livingston is everywhere, it�s a corps lake too isn�t it?

Ssam rayburn marina has small cabins that would work.

I live 1/4 mile from the lake.. your best bet would to stay at a camp ground if you want water front.. the fact that the Corp land borders the lake is what I love about it.. no boat docks!!Love it

We stayed in a cove cabin at Sam Rayburn Marina back in the spring and had a beach right behind the cabin where we could beach our boats.

Check Tiger Creek lodge also, they have a few cabins and a large house

Livingston is not a corps lake. It is controlled by the Trinity River Authority
