Man I love bass fishing in the fall. Shad balling up soon, cool mornings! Got the swim jig, crank bait, and spook"for the early and late blow ups", tied on and of course the old tried and true black and blue jig... I never leave home without that one! A lot less people on the water! Glad to see deer season open every year! Lol. What a great time of year!!

The fishing has sucked so far this fall. I never do good in the summer/fall transition, but this year has been unusually bad. Hopefully it gets better soon.

Its been a bust for me too, every time I was able to go last 2 months Ive been rained on. I wont complain about the rain, just my terrible performance catching bang

The smallmouth and meanmouth were active yesterday at Bridgeport. Nothing big but very fun.

I would rather fish Bridgeport any day than Fork. You got river fishing and no crowds but it's a miserable drive for me. I'm thinking Fairfield or Tawakoni is better than Fork right now.

Oh yes they are and you don't have to drop shot either. I can launch at the State Park and not even crank the big motor.

Fishing still sucked. Fished all day in the rain and no fish shallow. The only fish I caught were 13-18 ft of water on a 1/2 oz jig

I carved out the 2nd week of Nov for fall fishing. Will be camped out at our cottage on Twak, fishing Twak and Fork for a week. My week. Weather come what will.
