I Installed a Garmin unit with LiveScope yesterday on a Daniel Langston' boat and we went out to put it through the paces. In short, all I can say is that in the two hours we spent on the water I do not want to fish on another boat without it. Wow!! what a game changer. It is like playing pool and calling your shot.
We only hit 4-5 spots and I am sure if we ran the course we would have come across stuff that was choked full of Crappie.
What amazed me the most was how straight out of the box and with two easy adjustments to the settings we were targeting and picking fish off of limbs. In looking back at the video where I said those must be bubbles, I am now believing we may have knocked off some algae on the limb and it was rising which it stirred up the fish just before it bit. Amazing to finally see what has been happening below all these years of Crappie fishing and now be able to dial in things and pinpoint my bait where it should be instead of hoping I am in the right area. This my friends have increased my bite ratio as I can see where to place my bait in the strike zone. The unit you see in the video is that of the Garmin 1222 GPSMAP w/out transducer and teamed up with Garmin the LiveScope. I am putting Package three on my boat this week.
I have 50 + LiveScope in stock/available and you can review the link below for a compatible unit/display to go with it.

You will need to turn your head sideways to the right. Sorry for the poor video. We will get more coming in the near future. Enjoy!!!

How much for one ...installed? nuts

I guess the 360 is obsolete now? Is Lowrance coming out with something better?

I'm waiting to see what Lowrance brings to the table, and if Motorguide will have something to match the Ultrex in a tour edition model.

this shows how tight these fish can be to the brush. it seems when they are like this they are like this on most brush you check. If I check a few piles and cant see fish on them, I always stop and fish something because you can pass up plenty of fish.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Each package is $200 to install..correct

I'm all in, but being from Missouri I'm going to wait a while and read some reviews, and
I'll want to see one personally in action first. I have a Garmin 93 SV and love it.
The 'show me" tells me to wait and see how the fishermen like them. jim

That is amazing. May have to re-think what route I was going to go for electronics.

I didn't know Garmin had moved into the 1.2 MHZ realm. awful tempting. 1.2 mhz on my Humminbird MEGA is amazing compared to 800hz

Yes, sir, Garmin covers the 1.25MHz

99% of the time I am on 455kHz because it has a farther range out to the left and right over 800kHz and 1.25MHz

Here is an example from my Solix unit...

As you can see the 455Khz has broader shoulders. Once I find fish and or structure I will hit the cursor freezing the screen and then go into 800KhZ and 1.25MHz and adjust my sensitivity and contrast.
