When you fish the Berkley tourney at Fork, do you take all other brands of tackle out of your boat? I understand that the rules explicitly say Berkley, Sebile, and Johnson baits may only be used, but do you take everything else totally out of your boat, or keep everything in the boat but only use Berkley?

I leave everything in my boat. Just keep Berkley stuff in my day box or in a bag in my middle compartment. I very rarely use Berkley stuff so I don't have that much. Just stuff to get me through the tournament.

I am using it as a chance to clean out my compartments...I took everything out, and am only putting the Berkley stuff in the boat. I am organizing all the regular stuff before I load the boat back up with it.

I take everything out so there will never be a question in case I were to get polygraphed.

For three reasons: 1) to clean out the boat compartments; 2) If i do happen to catch a money fish and there is ever a boat inspection, I only want Pure fishing products in my boat, so there is no question what my fish were caught on, plus I interpeted the rules to mean only that Pure Fishing Branded Product could be in the boat, and 3)to make everything easier to find, so I have 6 Boxes of nothing but Berkley, Havoc,and Sebile Baits with extra packs of soft plastics in my day box.

Agreed Tin Man, helps clean out the unused stuff that often is just in the way, or a seasonal group of baits.

That's not a rule though. Doesn't say you can only have Berkley products in your boat.

You don't have to take other products out of your boat. They will not ask that on a polygraph and it's not in the rules. Just fish with Pure brand lures and on spinner baits and such remove the skirts. ONLY Pure brand products can be on the spinnerbaits and such.
