I've had a camping/fishing trip planned for this weekend for the past month out at Tawakoni. Everyone else has already bailed on it due to weather, but I'm still thinking about going. Not sure if I'll be able to convince my GF to go or not but my dog shouldn't take too much convincing.

Wanted to get some opinions on how yall think the fishing will be after all this rain. Think it'll be worth going? Planning on going Friday through Sunday and I'll be bank fishing.

I�m leaving for a month to do some Bull red fishing and I have a feeling when I get back triphy season is going to have already started, lol

That sounds awesome! We're planning on going to surfside in a few weeks in hopes of getting some bull reds. I've never fished for em before.

They are a ton of fun and if you have a nitch for catching blues you will do very well with the bulls!!!

Yeah I'm fairly experienced with blues. I've also caught some nice shark from the surf, biggest was 5ft but have only done it twice.

I am planning on going saturday if the ramps are open.

Hit corpus myself about 3 weeks ago. Shark fishing though had a good time.

Heading out to Wind Point on Friday for the weekend. Be doing some bank fishing there ourselves.

Threw the net twice in my cove, now. 6 feet deep, about 25 shad each time, very small less than 2"
Banking should be good
