I bought some Magellan neoporene wading boots at Academy this past Friday. Needless to say by 10:00AM on Saturday while fishing my feet were soaked.

You guys be careful wearing rubber boots in a boat! You go in the lake with rubber boots and a rain suit and your in trouble.. I wear my auto life jacket 100% in cold weather. Went in in January several years back. Made a believer out of me. Ice cold water takes your breath away hard to get back in!

I wear the HUK rubber boots, they are comfy and dry. I actually wore them to the State Fair on Friday, walked 4 miles no problems!

I have a pair of redhead bow hunting stalkers that are goretex. They are ankle high and have a bottom that doesn't track mud.

I have a pair of these ....keep your feet nice and dry..and are comfortable to wear...use them whenever I need rain boots.. Cabelas Duck Boot

I wear rain boots.. Only thing that sucks about them, people don't look at me because they don't say Simms on the side..
$100 for a pair of [censored] boots? [censored] that. I had a pair of those Simms boots. They were nice, but not worth the price. Took them back and got rain boots from walmart.. My pocket is better, and they do the same thing.
But again, I just hate that no one looks at me.. I guess I'm just not cool anymore..........

Under my rain suit, I wear the same 15" XtraTuf boots that I wear in Alaska.

warm rain - flip flops or barefoot
cool rain - Nikes or my uninsulated Goretex boots
real cold rain - insulated Goretex boots

I just bought a pair of red head mallard boots for the Berkley. Mid rise rubber boots - $30
