Broke my Falcon HD yesterday, it broke so easily I don't want to buy another one.
I only fish with one casting rod so I need a do all type.
I like to fish with swim jigs,Tx rig worms, and crank baits.
My falcon was 7 foot medium heavy and from what I am reading I need to stick with that.
There are just so many brands I just don't know what to get, I am thinking I need to get away from the made in china junk rods.
I would like to keep it around $150.
Any suggestions?

I bought a rod from Mike at Killer Outdoors (he bought the old limit Rod company and is rebranding). He has a number of Limit 5 Series rods left as well as some of the new branded Killer Outdoors rods. The Limits are on sale for $75 I think or so. I bought one of them and it is a pretty nice rod. I know of a few guides that used the Limit Rods and really liked them as well. For your budget you could get a couple of rods from him for different powers/actions too. you can search for Killer Outdoors in the classified section for his contact info.

Get you one of the Falcon's made in USA. Those HD's and Bucoos are just the cheap China made Falcons. I wouldn't call them true Falcons. The ones build in Oklahoma are the real deal..

ALX is another good rod built in South Carolina.

Kistler Rods

Y'all can keep your Dobyns rods... Made in Korea and China. You can get a USA Falcon for cheaper than those things..
